How to save or print pages from
our site
People sometimes run into difficulty in
saving or printing pages in our site. The problem is most likely due to our
"frames" setup with our navigation bar. Here's how to solve this
problem:
Saving a page:
- Find the link to the page that you want to save
- Right click on the link of the page that you want to go to;
select "properties" by left clicking once
- Highlight the link address by holding left key of mouse and
dragging over the address in the "properties" window (an example address: http://www.porn-free.org/what's_new.htm
)
- Right click on the highlighted address and select
"Copy" by left clicking once
- Highlight http://www.porn-free.org/
on your browser’s navigation bar
- Right click on the highlighted address; then left click on
paste; you should see the address of the page you want to go to (for example: http://www.porn-free.org/what's_new.htm)
- Hit "enter" button on your keyboard
You should see the page pull up without
our navigation bar.
On your browser's toolbar, select "File" and then
"Save As"
Type in the file name you want to call it and pick a location
that you will remember
Hit save
Printing a page: Printing pages from
the site can be tricky with our navigation bar on the left side of the page. There
are two ways to get around this.
Method #1:
- Be sure to click once on the page you want to print (not in
the navigation frame on the left)
On the file menu, select "Print"
You should have a printer information window that appears,
that includes a "print frames" box towards the bottom
Select "only the selected frame" option and hit
"OK"
Method #2:
- Find the link to the page that you want to print
- Right click on the link of the page that you want to go to;
select "properties" by left clicking once
- Select "Open in new window"
- Go to the new window and select "File"
on the toolbar and then select "print"
